CITY OF HOPE

GOS has identified items from our participating manufacturers in our catalogs with a pink ribbon. This indicates that any purchase of these products will result in a donation of the sale proceeds to the City of Hope to fight breast cancer. These items are expected to raise more than $500,000 for breast cancer programs at City of Hope. An estimated 182,460 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the US during 2008; about 1,990 new cases are expected in men. A growing number of lifesaving cancer therapies are based on research pioneered by City of Hope scientists, including the drugs Herceptin and Rituxan. Herceptin is used in the treatment of breast cancer. All of us know someone who has been touched by cancer.
